Vacationing
Here is my story about the wonderful time I spent at the fishing lodge in Gustavus, Alaska. I arrived in Juneau, 50 miles east of the fishing lodge, via Alaska Airlines. Another travel alternative was Alaska State Ferry. From there I went to Gustavus by bush plane. For those who prefer the water, there is a passenger ferry available for the same purpose. My brother’s kids preferred to take the ferry, and we all met in Gustavus. Someone from the fishing lodge met our flight at the Gustavus airport, and we all went at the Gustavus dock to meet the kids. This was the beginning of an unforgettable summer vacation, which we refer to as our “Alaska adventure vacation.” :-) If you like fishing and are looking for a nice place for your next big fishing adventure, then it is worth giving a try to the Glacier Bay National Park, Gustavus, and the Glacier Bay Alaska Country Inn.
