I went to Walgreens in Pasadena on Lake Avenue with my co-worker so she can purchase an Easter card for her aunt; sure enough I ended up with a basket full of items I really did not intend to buy. Now that is fine, however every single item I purchased from Walgreens had a problem with it! First, the most disturbing was that I had purchased some chocolates including the famous Cadbury eggs and once I got home and wanted to eat them they were old! Yes old! There was no creamy filling, no chewy center.. Just a big hard crusty looking thing in the middle and my guess is that it was from last Easter.. Ewww! Second I got an infant toy for my son and guess what it was so old it didn’t work. It was one of those toys that have a one time use battery and you can’t replace them so it had to be pretty old to already have been worn out. Third I got an aquarium lamp to use as a night light and that was so old that it just broke apart once I took it out of the box. I will not be shopping at Walgreens anymore and I will make sure the management is aware of this situation.. When I purchase something I do not except it to be old. This is even more upsetting because this particular Walgreens has just opened. Stay away from the Walgreens on Lake Avenue in Pasadena, California
About the Author
Walgreens Pasadena is the lowest of low. I went there once because of a TV ad I saw for a sale they were having and once I got there I felt like I was at a yard sale. The place was a mess. Nothing was where it was supposed to be. I couldn’t find someone to help me for a good 30 minutes. To anyone looking for the Walgreens Pasadena address please do yourself a favor and find an alternative store. It will save you a lot of time and head ache.
