Nursery Crib Bedding

Further compounding their effort in bringing the utmost quality in baby bedding to the consumer market, BabyMania makes their mark on the internet by surging to the forefront of online retailers offering baby bedding and custom crib bedding.

BabyMania is proud to announce the additions of Glenna Jean Baby Bedding, Laura Ashley Baby Bedding, and Kimberly Grant Baby Bedding to their already spectacular selection of fine children’s bedding, infant crib bedding, baby bedding, and other arrays and accessories geared towards invigorating your child’s imagination, as well as adding some color to their life.

Glenna started her independent effort, Glenna Jean baby bedding, after the birth of her second child. Born of what she perceived as a lack of basic nursery design, Glenna Jean began the creative process of designing her child’s perfect nursery.

“Bedding was all about function; back then bumpers were made from plastic for easy clean up and coordinating accessories were all but unheard of,” says Glenna.

So, with a desire for something special for her little girl, Glenna crafted a fanciful nursery from printed sheets purchased at a local department store. Soon the word of this unique nursery spread. Requests from friends and neighbors for help with their nurseries began to pile up.

In the spring of 1977 Glenna Jean was born. Glenna quickly out grew the small workspace in her home and moved her budding business into a small walk up apartment and started what is today the oldest privately held infant bedding company in the U.S.

In another unique tale of a home-based business taking on a shape of its’ own, Laura and Bernard Ashley started printing fabric on their kitchen table in London in 1953, following a Women’s Institute exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum on traditional handicrafts. Laura was inspired to make her own patchwork quilts, but couldn’t find any suitable fabrics in the shops, so the young enterprising couple decided to try producing their own. Thus, the infantile effort of what would become Laura Ashley baby bedding was born.

A single £10 investment in wood for a screen, some dyes and some linen, along with many trips to libraries to learn everything about fabric printing, kick-started their fledgling attempts. At first they produced small squares with geometric patterns, which reflected the limited space in their tiny flat. They would go on to sell scarves, tea towels, and niche placemats before converging upon the baby bedding market.

Kimberly Grant baby bedding was born of a lady with old-fashioned ideals and old-fashioned values, a unique trait considering the modern day bustle and hustle of the working world.

Even before Kimberly had children of her own, she was fascinated and enamored by the magical mind of a child. Birthday parties and holidays spent surrounded by nieces, nephews and friends were the perfect venues from which to draw creative inspiration.

She found herself fascinated by their made-up stories of drama, adventure and royalty, their dress-up play dates, and how unbelievably happy and carefree they were when they were lost in their own sweet childhood innocence. Her first piece of artwork, a baby gift for a friend, awakened her inner-most passion for bringing the most essential elements of a child’s mind, their innocence, their dreams, and their imagination, to life.

Baby Mania is proud to offer these three retailers to families everywhere, and is happy to offer these quality products via their website at BabyMania dot com.
