Entries from across the country enlist kids to speak up for Mother Earth!

BURBANK, CA – Young people from all across America submitted their entries to The World Trust Foundation’s Earth Heroes Art Contest to support and enlighten the rest of us about being responsible for our environment.  Contestants from over 60 cities expressed themselves through drawings, photography and the written word all for the sake of creating a better world.

The goal of the Earth Heroes program is to encourage youth to get involved in their communities and take responsibility for the world in which we all live. Aligning with organizations such Tree People, Earth Day LA and World Fest, The World Trust Foundation, ( www.worldtrust.org )  brings the Earth Heroes, ( www.earth-heroes.org ), to support the planet and do good works such as planting trees in Chatsworth, California, celebrating healthy eating habits with World Fest vegans and dancing to the wonders of our home on Earth Day.

The World Trust Foundation is announcing a brand new contest for young people to participant in and will include a new category, videography.  The Grand Prize is a trip to Puerto Rico for a special Rainforest Exploration and the winner will have the chance to appear on an online television show spotlighting the environment.

The World Trust Foundation’s mission is to empower youth to become part of a global community, to create a connection for open communication and collaboration, so that we can collectively eliminate racial intolerance and maintain a community of powerful and positive young people.
