2003 Dodge Intrepid Review
Last year, my girlfriend and I decided to buy a 2003 Dodge Intrepid in the Chicago area. The car was quite rusty, as the roads here are salted during the winter and the owners did not perform the proper maintenance. We brought it to the shop to de-rust and get a new paint job and spare parts for our 2003 Dodge Intrepid. This cost a good four thousand dollars, but it was worth it as we got a very favorable price on the car.
Interior: The interior of our 2003 Dodge Intrepid was very roomy; lots of legroom and headroom, and a more than spacious back seat. The 2003 Dodge Intrepid was used very often as a police car, and judging on the interior, we could see why. The wood and leather is also very nice; it may be nostalgic, but it seems like the interiors of older cars are nicer than what comes out today.
Exterior: After the rust on our 2003 Dodge Intrepid was removed and the paint touched up, it had a very nice, glossy finish. It looks nice sitting in our driveway, and the paint seems to be holding up well under the very common rain showers here in Chicago. We’ll see how it goes in the winter time.
Financing: When we decided to buy the 2003 Dodge Intrepid, we also got financing for a lease on the 2003 Dodge Intrepid through the Chrysler deal on very favorable terms. We got a 3.9% APR and the payments seemed extraordinarily low.
Handling: The 2003 Dodge Intrepid handles very well for a larger car. Most of the time we only drive it in Chicago traffic, which doesn’t exactly require great handling, but it does nicely when you decide to move it around a little bit. The new parts on our 2003 Dodge Intrepid seemed to improve the handling, but we didn’t have a great idea of everything the mechanic did.
Power: The 2003 Dodge Intrepid seems to do very well on the highways. It stops and starts quickly, accelerates satisfyingly, and can build up some good speed when traffic is light.
Maintenance: We don’t deal with Chrysler regarding our 2003 Dodge Intrepid, so we wouldn’t know how their official maintenance is, especially after the whole bankruptcy affair. Our mechanic here in Chicago does a great job.
We don’t plan on putting our 2003 Dodge Intrepid up for sale any time soon, it has been very reliable and trustworthy so far.
